Icon Engineering Solutions (IES) is proud to announce the successful award of the contract for the Procurement of Quantity-01 Heavy Weight Deflectometer (HWD) for Airport Pavement Evaluation by the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA), Logistics APS (South), Jinnah International Airport, Karachi.
Following a competitive procurement process, Icon Engineering Solutions was selected as the successful bidder, and the award was formally communicated through a Letter of Acceptance issued by the Pakistan Airports Authority.
The project involves the procurement and delivery of a Heavy Weight Deflectometer (HWD), one of the world’s most advanced pavement testing systems used to evaluate the structural capacity and load-bearing performance of airport pavements. The equipment simulates aircraft wheel loading to accurately measure pavement deflection, enabling engineers to assess runway and taxiway conditions
