Icon Engineering Solutions (IES) is proud to announce the successful award of the contract for “Providing/Fixing of High-Speed 3D Pavement Scanner / Laser-Based Pavement Inspection System on Existing Inspection Vehicle with Road Surface Profiler (RSP) Including Delivery, Installation & Training” by the Government of the Punjab, Office of the Director, Road Assets Management System (RAMS).
Following a competitive bidding process, Icon Engineering Solutions was declared the lowest evaluated responsive bidder, and the award was formally approved by the competent authority, the Chief Engineer (Research & Development).
The project involves the supply, installation, integration, and commissioning of a state-of-the-art High-Speed 3D Pavement Scanner and Laser-Based Pavement Inspection System on an existing Road Surface Profiler (RSP) vehicle. The assignment also includes delivery, system integration, calibration, installation, operator training, and technical support to ensure seamless deployment and long-term operational efficiency.
This advanced pavement inspection technology will significantly enhance the capability of the Government of the Punjab, Office of the Director, Road Assets Management System (RAMS) to collect high-resolution pavement condition data at highway speeds. The integrated system will support comprehensive road asset management by accurately identifying pavement distresses, measuring surface characteristics, and generating reliable data for maintenance planning, rehabilitation strategies, and infrastructure performance evaluation.
The project is scheduled for completion within a 180-day implementation period, reflecting Icon Engineering Solutions’ commitment to timely delivery, technical excellence, and adherence to international engineering standards.
